There are currently approximately 150 children and young people aged 4-18 connected with the church.
Our Sunday ministry covers Crèche to 18 year olds in age-related groups. 0-10 year olds are part of what we call Sunday Club:
The teens have two groups:
Once a month we have a 16+ group (4th Sunday in the month) that meet for friendship and to discuss how to integrate our faith with modern day living.

We also run two young people's small groups, Reef (school years 9-11) and B&B school years 12+) that meet during the week. Those who have come to faith are offered mentors who meet with them on a regular basis.
Zone is our youth club that operates in our hall (Portland Road)on a Friday evening. It runs two sessions 19.00-20.30 for school years 6-8 and 20.30-22.00 for school years 9 and above. Zone is a good bridge building opportunity for our young people to reach out to unchurched young people. Many of them bring their friends along and this sometimes goes on to introduce some to the life of the church.
Once a month young people (Yrs 9+ ) come together for Encounter Get Together. It's a time of sharing food and friendship in the home of our Youth Minister.
The first meeting of the new weekly after school club, A.S.K. took place on 13th September 2007 and was declared a great success by all those who attended. Please see below for more details.
Our holidays this year included: Spring Harvest , Solid Youth Festival, SOUL IN THE CITY, Newham, Soul Survivor and The Walk.
For more details on any of these activities please contact our Youth Minister, Patrick Croash, youthminister@stortfordbaptist.org
